The Tweed - Chanel fabric is a Tweed fabric with a composition of 100% polyester and a weight of 420g/m2. Its printed design features square shapes in the classic Gingham style, in a multicolor combination. This design symbolizes the fashion and elegance that characterize the Chanel brand, as well as creating an interesting visual effect thanks to the contrast between the different colors.
The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, which means that this design only appears on one side of the fabric. In terms of its general characteristics, the fabric has a rigid texture to the touch, which gives it a feeling of robustness and quality.
Among the most outstanding applications and uses of this fabric are the making of jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets and vests, among others, for both men and women. It can also be used for making cushions or for making accessories such as bow ties or caps.
To care for this fabric, it is important to follow the manufacturers instructions, avoiding bleaching and using maximum temperatures of 30ºC for washing. It can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene and it is recommended to iron at a cool temperature to maintain the quality of the fabric.
This fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology, which means that the image is digitally printed on paper and transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure. This allows for great precision in designs and high color durability, which makes sublimation printed fabrics very popular in the textile industry.
