The Recycled Lycra - Recycled fabric is a soft and elastic fabric of 190 gr/m2 composed of 85% POLYESTER and 15% ELASTANE, with a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features an artistic complexity of modern art with drawn details and a wide range of colors led by cotton white (61.49%), night black (11.73%) and almond raw (10.37%). This design could easily combine with neutral plain colors that complement the predominant colors. The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing.
The fabric has characteristics such as its soft touch and elasticity, and also has finishes that make it chlorine resistant and with very high UV protection 50+. Its most common applications and uses are for garments such as bikinis and swimsuits, scrunchies and hair ties; however, it can also be used for swimwear fashion garments, especially for those people who care about sustainability as it has GRS certification and is made with recycled materials.
To care for the Recycled Lycra - Recycled fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not to dry clean it. In addition, it should be ironed at a cool temperature and should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology with which this fabric is manufactured is sublimation (polyester), which allows the design to adhere to the fabric in a more durable and vibrant way. In sublimation, the ink turns into gas and is infused into the fibers of the fabric, which produces vivid and high-quality colors.
