The fabric in question is "Pana Aterciopelada-Dublin," a corduroy composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m² and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design is characterized by simple complexity, with a drawn and botanical style, and a floral theme of poppies, pictorial, and artistic flowers. The printed design features several main colors, making it easy to combine with other solid colors such as cream, brown, black, red, and blue.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which allows for good definition and clarity of details. The fabric has a soft and shiny texture, making it attractive for fashion and decoration.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric is soft to the touch, making it comfortable for making clothing and accessories, and it also withstands intensive use well. As for the design, it has good definition of drawing details, making it ideal for upholstery, cushions, and other decorative elements.
The applications and uses of the fabric are varied, ranging from decorating chairs, armchairs, sofas, to making fashion garments such as pants, jackets, blazers, overshirts, bomber jackets, and vests, as well as various accessories. Additionally, it can be used for making cushions, baskets, and other home textile items such as tablecloths and curtains.
Regarding the care required for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, ensuring it is not dry-cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. It is recommended to iron it at a cool temperature and not to use a tumble dryer.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which is a digital textile printing technique that allows for the transfer of ink from sublimation paper to the fabric, using heat and pressure to fix the colors into the fabric fibers. As a result, the printed design has high definition quality and durability.
