Glasgow broadcloth fabric is a blend of polyester, viscose, and elastane, weighing 380 gr/m2 and boasting a soft touch. Its printed design, created using sublimation technology, features standard complexity with a botanical and decorative graphic pattern. The flowers, both pictorial and artistic, add a floral touch to the multi-colored design. This fabric would pair well with solid tones of red, green, or black.
The general characteristics of the fabric and the printed design are highly versatile. On one hand, Glasgow broadcloth fabric is ideal for crafting coats, jackets, blazers, bomber jackets, and vests, as well as for decorating dining rooms with coasters and kitchens with dishcloths. On the other hand, the printed design, with its floral touch and warmth, lends an elegant and sophisticated style that remains modern and current.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is necessary to avoid bleaching and dry cleaning, although it will perfectly withstand washing at 40ºC and ironing at a warm temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended.
Finally, Glasgow broadcloth fabric is printed using sublimation technology on polyester, which gives it great resistance and durability in the print. This means that although the printed design is on only one side of the fabric, the thickness and quality of the fabric allow the print to last for long periods of time.
