Velvetleaf - Dublin

The fabric in question is Velveteen Corduroy - Dublin, a corduroy fabric composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It is a soft fabric with a shiny texture that adapts perfectly to digital textile printing. The printed design is drawn and artistic in style, with simple complexity and floral inspiration, featuring artistic flowers, pictorial florals, and stylized flowers. The main colors are cotton white, light orange, and royal blue. Additionally, this fabric would combine perfectly with solid tones such as mustard, dark green, and taupe gray.

Velveteen Corduroy - Dublin is single-sided printed, meaning it is only printed on one side of the fabric. Regarding its general characteristics, both the fabric and the printed design are soft to the touch and have a bright visual texture. As for its applications and uses, this fabric is ideal for decorating and upholstering chairs, armchairs, sofas, cushions, and baskets in homes and outdoor spaces. It is also viable for creating overshirts, pants, jackets, and accessories such as bags and backpacks.

For its care, activities such as bleaching and dry cleaning with trichloroethylene should be avoided. The maximum recommended washing temperature is 30ºC, and ironing should be done at a low temperature. Furthermore, tumble drying is not recommended to avoid damaging its texture.

Regarding printing technology, Velveteen Corduroy - Dublin uses the sublimation technique (polyester), a process that allows the inks to simply penetrate the fabric fibers and then turn into gas under heat and pressure, permanently transferring to the fabric. All this without compromising the softness and inherent luster of the corduroy.
