Recycled Lycra fabric is a soft and elastic fabric composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This sustainable fabric is GRS certified and is ideal for sports and fashion uses, such as bikinis and swimsuits. The printed design features botanical and floral motifs, highlighting leaves and flowers in multicolored tones. This fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing.
In addition to the elasticity and softness provided by the base fabric, the printed design of this fabric is complex and features a tropical and decorative graphic pattern. The main colors are multicolored, so they could be combined with plain fabrics in shades of blue, pink, green, and yellow.
The characteristics of the printed fabric include high resistance to chlorine and very high UV protection of up to 50+. On the other hand, the base fabric has a soft and elastic texture. The applications and uses of this fabric range from scrunchies and hair ties to sustainable and sophisticated swimsuits and bikinis.
For the care of this fabric, it should not be bleached, it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, ironed at a cool temperature, and should not be tumble dried. As for the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric, sublimation (polyester) is used to achieve high print quality and durability.
