The Velvety Corduroy Fabric - Dublin is a soft-touch fabric with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. Its printed design features a botanical and tropical style with graphic patterns, plants, leaves, and artistic flowers in multicolor. This fabric, digitally printed on one side, would perfectly combine with solid colors in shades of green, blue, and pink.
The general characteristics of the fabric and its printed design are its softness to the touch and a visual sheen provided by its print, conveying a sense of naturalness and freshness to the environment where it is used. This fabric is suitable for decorative uses such as upholstering armchairs, sofas, and chairs, as well as for making clothing items like trousers, jackets, blazers, overshirts, and accessories such as bags and backpacks. It can also be applied to home textile elements like cushions, baskets, and curtains.
It is important to consider the necessary care for proper conservation of the fabric and its print. It is recommended to wash at maximum temperatures of 30ºC, do not bleach, and do not tumble dry. Dry cleaning can be used except with trichloroethylene, and iron at a cool temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process that guarantees high quality and durability of the print as it ensures a complete fixation of the colors in the fabric. In this process, a special ink is sublimated onto the fabric through a thermal press that applies pressure and heat.
