The Velvet Corduroy Fabric - Dublin is a type of corduroy fabric composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its touch is soft and bright, which is reflected in its printed design. This design is complex and abstract with a modern art style in multi-colors. In addition to these colors, the fabric could combine well with plain tones such as forest green, dark blues, purples, and earthy tones. The fabric is printed with the printed design on one side by digital textile printing, which makes it suitable for decoration, upholstery, and garment making projects.
The general characteristics of the fabric imply that its composition is resistant, which makes it ideal for application in some garments such as pants, jackets, or coats. On the other hand, the design attributes make it a modern and striking fabric, which makes it a good option for decoration projects both outdoors and indoors. It is recommended for use in cushions, baskets, sofas, and chairs in living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, or even outdoor spaces thanks to its bright and soft texture.
It is important to take into account the necessary care to ensure this fabric lasts in perfect condition, among them, it is recommended not to bleach and wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Dry cleaning should be avoided, except for dry cleaning with trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry.
Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is polyester sublimation. This technique consists of applying ink on special paper which is then printed on the fabric through heat and pressure, which guarantees good fixation of the design on the fabric.
