The fabric in question is a Glasgow cloth, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane. With a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this soft-touch fabric is ideal for coats, jackets, blazers, and blousons in the autumn-winter 2021 season. The printing technology used is sublimation on polyester, and the printed design features standard complexity with a botanical and artistic style, mainly in black and white, with floral nature as the protagonist. The main colors of the design are cotton white, wolf grey, and sonic silver grey. This fabric, digitally printed on one side, combines perfectly with dark tones such as black, grey, or navy blue, as well as with more vibrant colors such as red or burgundy, which provide an interesting contrast.
Regarding the fabrics characteristics, its soft touch makes it pleasant against the skin and comfortable to wear. The printed design, for its part, reflects a floral aesthetic with an artistic and complex touch, conveying elegance and sophistication. In terms of applications and uses, in addition to those mentioned above, this fabric is also suitable for coasters and kitchen tablecloths, as well as for fabrics used in religious altars.
It is important to note the specific care instructions for this fabric, such as washing at a maximum temperature of 40°C, not using bleach, not dry cleaning, ironing at a warm temperature, and not tumble drying, to ensure the durability of the fabric.
Regarding the printing technology used, sublimation on polyester involves transferring the design printed on a special piece of paper to the fabric using heat and pressure. The result is a high-quality and durable print.
