The base fabric, named Storm, is a technical fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 70 gr/m2. Its width is 145 cm and it is water-repellent, which gives it impermeability and water repellency. Its texture is thin and smooth to the touch. For its part, the printed design stands out for its standard complexity, being colorful and artistic, inspired by plants and leaves. Its main colors are off-white, charcoal red, and cinnamon orange. This design could be combined with plain colors in shades of green, brown, or beige. It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing.
Regarding general characteristics, the Storm fabric is ideal for making fashion garments such as jackets, raincoats, and blousons, as well as for making shower curtains, thanks to its water repellency. In addition, due to its lightness, it is perfect for winter garments, although it can also be used for any other season. On the other hand, the printed design stands out for its colorfulness and its natural inspiration, which makes it perfect for those garments or decorations that seek a connection with nature.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied and adjusted according to the needs of the designer or the person who uses it. In addition to the uses mentioned above, it could be used in the manufacture of backpacks or sports accessories, thanks to its resistance. It can also be used in interior decoration, creating cushions or curtains, among others.
It is important to note that Storm fabric requires special care for its conservation, ranging from not using chlorine to ironing at a cool temperature. It is essential to read the care instructions before proceeding with its conservation, to ensure the durability and appearance of the garment or decoration made with this fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which allows a complete transfer of colors and design onto the fabric, producing a sharp and high-quality image.
