The Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo is an elastic fabric with a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, resulting in a soft and elastic texture to the touch. The weight is 220 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm. The printed design is of simple complexity, with a colorful style and modern art, and features geometric shapes in various colors, mainly highlighting the multicolor. This design combines perfectly with plain colored fabrics such as black, white, and navy blue.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the drawing is only present on one side of the fabric. In addition, the fabric has chlorine-resistant finishes and a very high UV protection factor of 50+, which makes it perfect for use in swimwear and sportswear.
The applications and uses of the Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo are very wide, especially in sportswear, lingerie, womens and mens fashion, and in swimsuits. Thanks to its elasticity, it is perfect for fitted garments and knitted garments. In addition, accessories such as scrunchies can be made with this fabric.
Regarding fabric care, it is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40 ºC, do not tumble dry, and iron at a low temperature. It is also recommended to dry clean, but not with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of printing the design on transfer paper and then transferring it to the fabric using pressure and temperature. This technique provides high print quality and durability.
