Description

The Recycled Lycra fabric is a stretchy and soft fabric composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric has been certified as sustainable due to the use of recycled materials and has a very high UV protection factor of 50+. The printed design is characterized by its standard complexity and its botanical, artistic, and decorative style with a very drawn and clearly floral touch, with carnations and artistic and pictorial floral flowers in shades of desert sand pink, worm pink, and darkmagenta pink. These colors can be combined with shades of light green, blue, white, and/or black.

The fabric is printed with the design on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not printed on both sides, but on one. Among the general characteristics of the fabric, its soft and elastic texture stands out, as well as its resistance to chlorine. The possible applications and uses for this fabric are varied, including not only sports swimwear products, such as bikinis and swimsuits, but also accessories such as hair ties and scrunchies. As for the necessary care for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not dry clean it, iron it at a cold temperature, and not tumble dry it.

Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is known as sublimation (polyester), which uses special inks that turn into gas and penetrate the fibers of the fabric to create an image that is not only resistant to fading but also maintains the elasticity and softness of the fabric.
