Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The fabric we are referring to is PET Recycled Canvas - Dallas, a 100% polyester canvas with a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. This fabric is sustainable because it is made from recycled PET and certified with the GRS standard.
The printed design on this fabric is characterized by its tropical and decorative nature, with multi-colored plants and leaves as its central element. The complexity of the design is standard, making its visualization clear and not too dense. The base colors used are green and red, although it also features orange, yellow, and blue tones that give it a more exotic touch. Technically, it should be noted that the fabric is printed with this design on one side using digital textile printing, making it visible only on one side.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, we can say that its texture is rough and stiff to the touch, making it ideal for applications such as upholstery or accessories that require a certain structure. In addition, its visual opacity makes it perfect for decorating any corner of the home with cushions or pictures. On the other hand, the attributes of the printed design make it perfect for clothing and accessories with a more summery touch, but also for home decor.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, it is important to note that it is intended for general decoration, from cushions and baskets, through table runners, to upholstery for sofas, armchairs, or chairs. As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is essential not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It also allows dry cleaning with solvents and it is important to iron it at a cool temperature to avoid damaging the colors of the design.
Finally, the printing technology used to create this type of fabric is sublimation with polyester. This technique consists of transferring the design from paper to fabric using heat and pressure, which makes the color penetrate the fibers of the fabric and guarantees its durability.
