Seal Recycled Lycra is a lycra-type fabric with a composition of 75% polyester and 25% elastane. It has a weight of 230 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, offering an elastic texture that makes it perfect for making lingerie, sportswear, and swimwear. This fabric has a GRS certification and is sustainable as it is made from recycled materials.
The printed design of this fabric is an explosion of complex and wavy colors. With a modern art style that combines a multitude of tones, this design is a perfect option for those looking to turn a garment into a work of art. Some plain colors that could be combined with this fabric are white, pink, navy blue, and black.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing. Seal Recycled Lycra is a chlorine-resistant fabric and has a very high UV Protection Factor, making it suitable for use in swimwear and sportswear.
The application of Seal Recycled Lycra is very versatile, being able to be used in the manufacture of lingerie, swimwear, and sportswear, such as bikinis, swimsuits, leggings, bodies, and leotards. In addition, its texture and elasticity make it very comfortable to wear, allowing the freedom of movement necessary for sports activities.
Regarding the care that must be taken to keep Seal Recycled Lycra in perfect condition, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and avoid bleach and dry cleaning. It cannot be tumble dried and should be ironed at a cool temperature to avoid damaging the elastic fibers.
The printing technology used to make this fabric is polyester sublimation. With this method, the inks are applied to the fabric using a special printer and then subjected to high temperatures to fix the colors to the fabric. The final result is a fabric with a unique and vibrant design that will not fade with use or washing.
