The base fabric is an Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga, composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, which makes it very elastic and with a grainy texture to the touch. The fabric is printed with a colorful, botanical, and decorative patterned design, featuring stylized floral elements and petals. The main colors are light blue, plum pink, and mint green, which could be combined with other plain colors such as white, black, or grey. It is important to note that the fabric is printed on one side only using digital textile printing.
On one hand, the fabric presents great elasticity and a grainy texture to the touch, while the design is composed of stylized floral elements and petals in vivid and cheerful colors. The combination of both elements gives the fabric an elegant and sophisticated appearance, yet at the same time fresh and youthful. Regarding applications and uses, the fabric is suitable for womens and mens fashion, in garments such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear. Furthermore, its weight of 180 gr/m2 makes it ideal for any time of the year.
As for care, the fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not bleached, ironed at a cool temperature, and allow for dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene. It can also be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, it is worth noting that the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This technique involves printing the design onto a sublimation paper sheet with special inks and then transferring the design to the fabric through heat and pressure. The result is a crisp, high-quality image with bright and long-lasting colors.
