Recycled Lycra fabric is an elastic fabric made of 85% recycled polyester and 15% elastane. With a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is suitable for making sportswear and swimwear, as well as scrunchies and hair ties. Its printed design stands out for its colorful, botanical and decorative style, with pictorial and stylized floral motifs, as well as artistic petals and flowers in shades of light blue, plum pink and dark mint green.
This fabric, printed on one side using digital textile printing, has a soft and elastic feel, is chlorine resistant, and has a very high UV protection factor of 50+. In addition, the Recycled Lycra fabric is a sustainable material, with GRS certification.
Thanks to its water and moisture resistant properties, this fabric is ideal for swimwear, providing comfort by conforming to the body. It is also suitable for sportswear, as it allows for easy movement. Other uses include creating hair accessories, such as scrunchies and hair ties.
To care for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40°C and iron at a low temperature. It cannot be tumble dried or dry cleaned, and should not be bleached under any circumstances.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a technique that allows high-quality images and designs to be printed on textile surfaces with great durability and resistance. In this way, a vibrant and durable printed design is achieved.
