Tweed - Chanel fabric is a tweed-type fabric, with a composition of 100% polyester and a weight of 420 gr/m2, which makes it a rigid fabric to the touch. Its printed design presents a standard complexity, with a style suitable for home decoration and a floral graphic pattern, combining artistic flowers, flower bouquets, and pictorial flowers in predominant tones of pistachio green, dollar bill green, and frog green, to which other plain colors such as black, white, or gray could be added. This fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing.
The general characteristics of this fabric are its rigid texture and its width of 150 cm. Likewise, its use is wide, being able to be used for both fashion and home textiles and outdoor decoration. Among the most common applications are jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, and accessories such as bow ties or caps. In addition, it is also suitable for making cushions for living rooms, bedrooms, or kitchens.
Regarding the care instructions, it is important not to bleach and wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, as well as being suitable for dry cleaning, as long as trichloroethylene is not used. It is also recommended to iron at a cool temperature and avoid using a tumble dryer.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows high fidelity in the reproduction of the printed design on the fabric, achieving high quality in detail and color. The fabric undergoes a pretreatment process to facilitate the penetration of the ink into the fiber, and is subsequently printed using digital printing, which uses special inks that evaporate directly from solid to gas, creating a strong and durable bond between the ink and the fabric fiber.
