The Recycled Lycra fabric is an elastic fabric weighing 190 gr/m2 with a soft and stretchy texture that makes it perfect for sportswear and swimwear. Its printed design combines exotic, tropical, and botanical elements, creating a complex and decorative print in multicolored tones. It would pair perfectly with solid colors such as apple green, turquoise blue, or coral pink to highlight the main tones of the design. It is worth noting that this fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing.
Regarding its general characteristics, the Recycled Lycra fabric offers great chlorine resistance and a high UV protection factor (UPF 50+), making it ideal for use in swimwear and outdoor sportswear. In addition to its great elasticity, it has a width of 150 cm, allowing its use in a wide variety of garments, from bikinis and swimsuits to hair ties and scrunchies. It is important to note that this fabric is sustainable, as it is GRS certified and its composition includes 15% recycled elastane.
As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not to use bleach or dry cleaning. It can be ironed at a cool temperature, but it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacturing of the Recycled Lycra fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for excellent color fixation and ensures high print quality.
