The Gabardine - Prada fabric is a twill with a composition of 96% polyester and 4% elastane, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features standard complexity and a botanical, artistic, and home decor style, with a floral nature that includes both pictorial and stylized flowers. The main colors are night black, antique cream, and iron gray. Additionally, this fabric could combine with solid tones such as white, black, pastel pink, or light yellow.
The fabrics texture is soft and delicate to the touch, while also being resistant and durable due to its composition. The printed design has great definition, with a crisp and vibrant finish that highlights every detail of the pattern. The fabric is printed on one side only by digital textile printing, which means that only one side has the design printed.
The applications and uses of this fabric are wide, as it is ideal for making fashion garments such as shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses, or scarves, for both men and women. In addition, its home decor nature makes it also suitable for complementing with interior decorations and textiles.
For the care of this fabric, it is important to note that it should not be bleached and the maximum recommended washing temperature is 30ºC. Likewise, dry cleaning can be performed except with trichloroethylene, it should be ironed at a cold temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which involves transferring ink to the fabric using heat and pressure, providing a crisp and durable print.
