The base fabric of this garment is one of the most characteristic and widely used in the manufacture of winter coats and jackets. It is a Glasgow fabric composed mainly of polyester along with a small proportion of viscose and elastane. This fabric stands out for having a high grammage of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, which makes it a dense and heavy fabric, perfect for maintaining body heat in cold weather. In addition, its soft texture provides a feeling of comfort and coziness when wearing garments made with this fabric.
The printed design on the fabric is characterized by being a simple but elegant work in a graphic pattern style with floral elements, mainly consisting of bouquets of tulips in shades of white, platinum gray, and wolf gray, these being the main colors of the design. These solid colors could be perfectly combined with black, dark red, and navy blue.
The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side, making it a spectacular fabric for creating exclusive and eye-catching garments.
In terms of general characteristics, Glasgow fabric is a versatile fabric that can be used in various fields, but it stands out mainly for its use in fashion and home textiles. To keep the fabric in optimal condition, special attention should be paid to washing it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoiding bleaching and tumble drying, as well as dry cleaning. Ironing at a warm temperature is also recommended to avoid possible tears or deformations in the fabric.
The printing technology used in this garment is sublimation with a polyester base, which gives it exceptional print quality, precision in details, and great durability over time. This printing technique allows for high definition and exact reproduction of the designs printed on the fabric, thus achieving an impeccable and high-quality final result.
