Cairo Polyester Lycra fabric is a high-quality elastic fabric with a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, giving it unique properties such as its soft texture, chlorine resistance, and very high UV protection of up to 50+. Its printed design is botanical and floral, representing wild, artistic, and stylized flowers in the main colors of black, raw, and daisy pink. These colors could perfectly combine with other plain colors such as white, gray, or pastel pink to create a subtle but elegant contrast. Digital textile printing is done on one side so that the fabric maintains its elasticity and resistance. The fabric is ideal for applications in sports, lingerie, fashion, and swimwear.
In terms of general characteristics, Cairo Polyester Lycra is a soft and elastic fabric with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The fabric is fade-resistant and offers great flexibility to the touch, providing a high degree of comfort to the user. The printed design is unique and attractive, creating a natural and fresh atmosphere in any garment it is used with.
The applications and uses of Cairo Polyester Lycra are numerous, making it ideal for sportswear, lingerie, fashion, bikinis, and swimsuits. Its elasticity allows it to adapt perfectly to the body, providing excellent mobility and fit. Additionally, its chlorine resistance and UV protection make it ideal for use in garments for water sports or outdoor activities.
Regarding fabric care, it is recommended not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Dry cleaning is allowed, except using trichloroethylene. It should be ironed at a cool temperature and cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is polyester sublimation, a technique that allows ink pigments to impregnate the fabric fibers more efficiently and durably than other printing methods. This ensures that the printed design does not peel off, maintaining its quality and color throughout the garments lifespan.
