Recycled Lycra fabric - Recycled is a lycra fabric with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. With a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for a variety of applications, including accessories such as hair ties and scrunchies, as well as sports and swimwear such as bikinis and swimsuits. This fabric is sustainable with GRS certification, and its sublimation printing technology (polyester) makes it chlorine resistant and has a very high UV protection factor of 50+.
The printed design is decorative and drawn, with a floral theme featuring artistic and pictorial flowers in rose gold, midnight black, and darkolivegreen tones. This design is printed on one side by digital textile printing. The design is soft to the touch and elastic thanks to the lycra base fabric, making it ideal for swimwear and sportswear.
In addition to its elasticity, the base fabric is also chlorine resistant and has a very high UV protection factor, making it perfect for prolonged use in outdoor environments. In terms of applications and uses, this fabric is suitable for swimwear and sportswear, as well as accessories. For example, the flowers in the design would make this fabric perfect for swimsuits and sportswear, while the colors make it suitable for accessories.
To maintain the quality of the fabric, it is recommended to wash it at no more than 40°C and iron it at a low temperature. In addition, do not use bleach, do not dry clean, and do not tumble dry. As for printing technology, sublimation is done by applying heat and pressure to print the ink directly onto the fabric. This allows the colors to be bright and resistant to fading over time.
