Polyester Lycra - Nairobi 270 gr/m2

The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2, features an abstract printed design of stains, drops, and brushstrokes in predominant shades of cotton white and chili red. This single-sided fabric, printed using digital textile printing, is elastic, chlorine-resistant, and has a very high UV protection factor of 50+.

The printed design adds an artistic and modern touch to any garment made with it, and it could perfectly combine with solid colors in shades of white, red, black, and blue.

Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, it is composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, which gives it a soft and elastic texture, perfect for lingerie, sportswear, or swimwear such as bikinis, swimsuits, or leotards. In addition, its weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm make it a resistant and durable fabric.

To maintain it in optimal conditions, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not bleach it, iron it at a cold temperature, and do not tumble dry it. It can also be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene.

The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which offers the benefit of printing designs on the fabric surface with great precision and quality. This technique consists of the design colors turning into gas at high temperatures, which fuses with the polyester fibers of the fabric, thus creating a durable and high-quality result.
