The base fabric is a thin, water-repellent fabric called Storm, technically woven and made of 100% polyester, with a smooth texture and a delicate feel. This fabric is designed for use in fashion and sportswear, as well as in home textiles, especially for shower curtains. The printed design of the fabric features an abstract style with spots, drops, and brushstrokes in predominant tones of cotton white, pepper red, and carnation red. Other solid colors that can be combined with this design include black, gray, navy blue, and dark green. It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed on one side only.
The general characteristics of the fabric are its waterproof and water-repellent finish, making it perfect for clothing and sports accessories such as jackets and raincoats. In addition, its thinness and smooth, soft texture make it perfect for use in home textiles such as shower curtains. The design is artistic and modern, perfect for garments seeking a more creative and striking style.
Regarding care, this fabric should not be bleached, and washing at a maximum temperature of 40°C is suggested, with low-temperature ironing and no tumble drying. It is important to mention that this fabric does not allow dry cleaning.
Finally, the printing technology used for its manufacture is polyester sublimation, which uses special inks that turn into gas when heated to high temperatures and adhere to fabrics to create vibrant and durable designs.
