The base fabric for this description is Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, a corduroy fabric composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, which gives it its softness and elasticity. Its weight is 280 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm. This fabric is printed with a drawn and colorful pattern, with a botanical and floral theme, including flowers, petals, and daisies, giving it a bright visual appearance. The main colors are 30.55% pistachio green and 21.20% pastel orange, which could be combined with solid blacks and grays. The fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing.
Regarding the general characteristics of this fabric, its soft touch and bright appearance make it ideal for use in fashion garments such as pants, jackets, blousons, or blazers, as well as for accessories such as handbags or backpacks. In addition, it can be used for interior decoration, such as upholstery for sofas, armchairs, and chairs, cushions for the living room, or baskets for the lounge. It is a winter season fabric, thanks to its thick weight and composition.
Regarding the care instructions to consider when working with this fabric, bleaching and dry cleaning with trichloroethylene should be avoided. It should be machine washed at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius and ironed at a cool temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which uses a heat and pressure process to permanently transfer the design pigments to the fabric. This allows for a high-quality finish, with a bright and durable visual appearance.
