The Velvet Corduroy Fabric - Dublin is a corduroy fabric with a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, giving it a soft texture and feel, and a visually bright appearance. The printed design features a tropical and drawn style with artistic floral and pictorial floral motifs in main shades of 37.49% green and 24.2% pink. This design perfectly combines with solid colors such as dark green, pastel pink, beige, off-white, or pearl gray. The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing.
The Velvet Corduroy Fabric - Dublin has a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications and uses in fashion, decoration, and home textiles. The fabric can be used for upholstering chairs, armchairs, and sofas, making pants, overshirts, jackets, blazers, bomber jackets, and vests, as well as creating accessories such as handbags and backpacks. It is also perfect for making cushions, baskets, or any decorative item for the home.
Regarding care, it is important to note that the garment cannot be dry cleaned and the maximum washing temperature is 30ºC. It can be ironed at a cool temperature and cannot be tumble dried. Additionally, it is recommended not to bleach and to opt for dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation for polyester fabrics. This process involves transferring an image printed on paper to the fabric using heat and pressure. The ink turns into gas at high temperatures, penetrating the fabric fibers and dyeing them permanently. This technology allows for high-quality and long-lasting designs without affecting the softness and delicacy of the corduroys texture.
