Recycled Lycra fabric is a soft, elastic fabric made of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design combines waves and stripes in pictorial, modern and colorful hues, with the main colors being mostly blue and green tones. This fabric could perfectly combine with plain neutral tones such as white or grey to enhance the printed design.
Printed on one side by digital textile printing, this fabric presents general characteristics such as a soft and elastic texture, with a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor of 50+. Its printed design stands out for its modern and drawn style, reflecting waves and stripes and transmitting a sense of movement.
As for its applications and uses, this fabric is ideal for swimwear, both for bikinis and swimsuits, as well as for the manufacture of accessories such as hair ties or scrunchies. In addition, it could be used in other applications that require an elastic and resistant fabric.
It is important to note that to care for this fabric, specific instructions must be followed, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying.
Recycled Lycra is produced using polyester sublimation technology, which guarantees high print quality and resistance to deterioration. This technique is based on the application of special inks that sublimate into gas through heat and pressure, permanently fixing to the fabric to create a high-quality design.
