The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric with a soft and pleasant texture to the touch. Its printed design is composed of main colors in green and orange tones, which gives it a fresh and lively touch. This design could perfectly combine with plain colors in green, white, yellow, and orange tones. It should be noted that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing.
Regarding the general characteristics, the Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is chlorine resistant and has a very high UV protection factor of 50+, which makes it ideal for use in swimwear or sportswear exposed to the sun. It is also elastic and has a grammage of 270 gr/m2. The printed design is of high quality and has a prolonged duration.
As for applications and uses, this fabric is perfect for making lingerie, swimwear such as bikinis or swimsuits, as well as sportswear such as tights, leotards, or leggings. Its wide versatility also makes it suitable for other types of garments.
The care that should be taken into account for this fabric includes not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and ironing at a cool temperature. Dry cleaning can also be performed, except for trichloroethylene. In no case should it be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which is a process in which the image is printed on paper and, through heat and pressure, the pigments are transferred from the paper to the fabric, generating a high-quality and durable result. It is important to note that this process can only be performed on fabrics with a polyester composition.
