The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is an elastic and chlorine-resistant fabric with a weight of 270 gr/m2. Its composition is 82% polyester and 18% elastane, which gives it a soft texture and an elastic finish. In addition, it has a very high UV protection factor of 50+, making it ideal for swimwear and sportswear. Its width is 150 cm, which facilitates its handling during garment manufacturing.
The printed design of this fabric features a floral nature, with artistic and stylized flowers. The main colors of the design are multicolor, which gives it vitality and joy. In addition, the design has a botanical style, with a graphic and drawn pattern. This combination of elements makes the fabric versatile and suitable for different styles of garments.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric, which facilitates its integration into sewing projects.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric has a soft texture and feel, which makes it comfortable to wear. In addition, its chlorine resistance makes it durable and suitable for swimwear. Its Very High UV protection factor 50+ protects the skin from harmful sun rays.
In terms of applications and uses, this fabric is ideal for lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, tights and leggings. Its elasticity allows it to adapt to the body, providing comfort and freedom of movement.
Regarding care, it is important to follow the manufacturers recommendations. It should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoiding discoloration and the use of bleaches. Dry cleaning can be done, except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cold temperature and the dryer should not be used.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which allows for high definition of the design and long-lasting colors. Through this method, the colors adhere to the fabric permanently, resisting washing and use. This ensures that the design remains intact over time.
