The fabric in question is a fine water-repellent fabric called "Storm". It is a technical fabric made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. Its printed design features different attributes, such as a graphic and decorative style, with botanical elements and floral nature, including both pictorial flowers and artistic flowers.
The main colors of the design are cotton white (43.22%), turtle green (18.26%), and light orange (14.91%). In addition to these colors, the fabric could combine well with other plain colors such as beige, grey, or navy blue.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design only on one side, using digital textile printing. This means that the design is not present on both sides of the fabric, but only on one of them.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric and the printed design, we can mention that the fabric has a waterproof and water-resistant finish, making it ideal for making fashion garments such as jackets or raincoats. In addition, it has a thin and smooth texture to the touch, which gives it a soft and comfortable feel.
In terms of applications and uses, this fabric can be used in fashion for both women and men, in garments such as jackets or blousons. It is also suitable for use in home textiles, such as shower curtains, as well as for sportswear such as raincoats. Its main season of use is winter, due to its water-repellent capacity.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is not suitable for dry cleaning or tumble drying. For ironing, a cool temperature should be used.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which allows the printed design to be transferred durably and with high quality onto the fabric. This technique consists of printing the design on special paper and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure, ensuring a faithful reproduction of the colors and details of the design.
