The base fabric, called "Tela fina repelente al Agua - Storm" (Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm), is a technical fabric made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. It is a waterproof fabric with a soft and thin touch, giving it a smooth and pleasant texture. The printed design on this fabric features attributes such as abstract artistic and decorative style stains. Additionally, circular and polka dot shapes can be seen, giving it a simple complexity. The main colors of this design are soft ivory white, cantaloupe orange, and cantaloupe orange to a lesser extent. This design can be combined with solid colors such as black, gray, navy blue, or beige.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing, which means the design is only on one side of the fabric.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its finish is waterproof and water-repellent, making it ideal for garments such as jackets and raincoats, as well as for shower curtains in the home.
As for the care instructions for maintaining this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and avoid the use of bleach. Dry cleaning and tumble drying are not recommended, and it is advised to iron it at a cool temperature.
