The Recycled Lycra fabric is a soft and elastic fabric, with a weight of 190 gr/m2. Its printed design features a combination of abstract stains in predominant colors such as SteelBlue, Night Black, and touches of Jay Blue. This design is characterized by being decorative and artistic, with circles and polka dot shapes, and a standard style.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to mention that the design is not printed on both sides of the fabric, but only on one.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric offers a soft and elastic feel, making it ideal for garments that require comfort and movement. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV Protection Factor (UPF) of 50+, which makes it a safe option for swimwear.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, its usefulness in making scrunchies, bikinis, swimsuits, and other sports and fashion items related to water stands out. Recycled Lycra adapts perfectly to these garments thanks to its elasticity and water resistance.
As for the necessary care to maintain the quality of the fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, it cannot be dry cleaned or tumble dried. For ironing, a cold temperature should be used.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, specifically for polyester fibers. This printing process allows the colors and design to be impregnated into the fabric in a durable and wash-resistant manner.
