The fabric in question is the Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga, a type of crepe fabric composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, which gives it an elastic and grainy texture to the touch. Its weight is 180 gr/m2 and it has a width of 150 cm. This fabric is characterized by being versatile and is used in different fashion garments for both women and men, such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear. It is a timeless fabric, meaning it can be used in any season.
The printed design of this fabric has attributes such as animal print, specifically leopard print, which gives it a wild and striking touch. In addition, it has attributes of shine, art, home decor, and decorative. The main colors of the design are multicolor, which translates into a combination of different shades that make the print stand out.
This fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using sublimation technology, primarily using polyester. It is important to note that the design is printed only on one side of the fabric, not on both sides.
Regarding the general characteristics, the fabric is elastic and has a grainy texture to the touch. On the other hand, the printed design has attributes of shine and artistry, which gives it a striking and decorative appearance.
The Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga fabric is mainly used in the fashion industry for making different garments. Regarding care, it is recommended to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not to bleach it. In addition, it is suitable for dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. For ironing, it is advisable to use a cold temperature, and the fabric can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of applying heat and pressure on the polyester to permanently transfer the printed design to the fabric. This guarantees high print quality and durability in the printed design.
