Raso - Ámsterdam fabric is a soft, shiny satin with a smooth texture to the touch. Its composition is 100% polyester and it has a weight of 120 gr/m2. With a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for fashion garments such as shirts, blouses, skirts, pants, and tops for both women and men. It can also be used in the making of kimonos, pajamas, wedding dresses, accessories such as scarves, and lingerie. In addition, its printed design features standard complexity with a decorative graphic pattern. The main shapes of the design are clouds and rainbows, which gives it a colorful and striking touch.
This fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that the design is only on one side of the fabric, not on both. This allows for a sharp and high-quality print.
Regarding general characteristics, Raso - Ámsterdam fabric is visually shiny and has a smooth texture to the touch. It is a thin fabric that easily adapts to different sewing projects.
In terms of color combination, the printed design has a predominance of 58.2% main colors, along with 16.87% other colors. These main colors can be combined with other solid tones such as white, black, pastel pink, light blue, or soft yellow to highlight the printed design and create harmonious outfits.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it can also be used in the creation of home decor accessories, such as cushions or curtains.
Regarding the care this fabric should receive, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. It should be ironed at a warm temperature and can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Regarding printing technology, this fabric is manufactured using polyester sublimation. Sublimation is a printing process in which the design is transferred through heat and pressure, penetrating deeply into the polyester fibers. This ensures that the printed design remains vivid and durable over time.
