The base fabric is a high-quality cloth called Glasgow, composed of a blend of polyester, viscose, and elastane with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features stripes and lines in mint green, cotton white, and eggshell white tones. This design can be combined with plain colors in greens, grays, or whites, among others. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing.
The fabric has a soft feel to the touch, and the design features geometric shapes that create an attractive visual effect. In terms of general characteristics, both the fabric and the design are perfect for use in winter and autumn/winter 2021 garments. Additionally, the fabric can be used for altars, coats, blazers, jackets, among other applications.
It is important that the fabric receives proper care, such as not bleaching it, washing it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not dry cleaning it, ironing it at a warm temperature, and not tumble drying it. With these cares, greater durability and quality of the fabric are guaranteed.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows the design to permanently adhere to the fabric without altering its properties such as color, quality, and texture. In short, the Glasgow fabric with its striped and lined printed design is an excellent option for making fashion garments and accessories and home textiles.
