The Recycled Lycra fabric is a Lycra-type fabric with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. It has a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric features a soft touch and elasticity, making it very comfortable and adaptable to the body. Additionally, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers high UV protection of factor 50+.
The printed design of this fabric is characterized by its standard complexity and botanical style. The main inspirations are flowers, with a pictorial approach. Other elements such as paper and wallpaper patterns are also included. The main colors of the design are: 65.53% and 13.46%.
This fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side using textile digital printing. It is important to note that the design is only on one side of the fabric, not on both.
The combination of plain colors that could complement this printed design are those that highlight one of the main colors. For example, plain colors in neutral tones such as white, black, or gray, or even colors in more vibrant tones such as yellow or pink, could be used.
Regarding the general characteristics of this fabric, its soft and elastic texture stands out, making it perfect for garments that require movement and comfort. Additionally, its chlorine-resistant finish ensures its durability even after repeated washing in pools or at the beach. Moreover, the Very High UV protection 50+ makes it an excellent option for swimwear or outdoor sports apparel.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those already mentioned, such as bikinis and swimsuits, this fabric is also suitable for making scrunchies and hair ties. Due to its composition and characteristics, it is a sustainable and environmentally friendly material, certified with the GRS standard.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not to use bleach or dry cleaning. In addition, it should be ironed at a cool temperature and not tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which allows colors and designs to be transferred durably and resistant. This process involves applying heat and pressure to the design printed on transfer paper so that the dye turns into gas and penetrates the fibers of the fabric, creating a vibrant and high-quality print.
