The Raso - Amsterdam fabric is a polyester satin with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its composition is 100% polyester, which gives it a soft and shiny texture on its surface. This fabric stands out for its printed design, which features attributes such as abstract stains in colorful tones. These stains develop in a simple yet stylish way, creating a modern and pictorial look. The design also features abstract shapes and circles, forming specks throughout its extent.
The printed design on this fabric is mainly composed of bright and colorful colors, representing approximately 22.39% and 21.58% respectively. These main colors can be combined with other plain colors such as white, black, dark blue or light pink, to create contrast or highlight certain elements of the printed design.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only by digital textile printing. This means that the print is only on one side of the fabric, while the other side remains in a plain color.
As for the general characteristics, both of the fabric and the printed design, the fabric has a shiny and smooth texture to the touch, which gives it a sophisticated and elegant appearance. The printed design, with its modern and colorful style, adds life and personality to any garment or accessory made with this fabric.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, we can highlight that it is used in fashion for both men and women, in garments such as shirts, blouses, kimonos, skirts, pants and tops. It is also suitable for making lingerie, such as pajamas, dresses and wedding dresses. In addition, this fabric can also be used in the creation of accessories such as scarves. Its versatility makes it appropriate for both the autumn/winter 2021 season and any time of the year.
As for the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is also compatible with dry cleaning, with the exception of trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a warm temperature and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, it is important to highlight the printing technology used in this fabric, which is sublimation. This technique consists of transferring the printed design from the transfer paper to the fabric by means of high temperatures and pressure. This process allows the colors to be impregnated into the polyester fibers in a durable way, resistant to washing and without affecting their characteristic softness and shine.
