The Polyester Lycra Fabric - Nairobi is an elastic lycra with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its composition is 82% polyester and 18% elastane. This fabric has a soft and elastic texture, which provides comfort when worn. Its chlorine-resistant finish makes it ideal for swimwear, such as bikinis and swimsuits.
The printed design of this fabric is abstract and features brushstrokes in multi-colors. The predominant shapes are lines, which give it a modern and artistic touch. With a complexity in its simplicity, the Nairobi design adapts to different styles and can be combined with plain colors such as black, white, navy blue, and yellow.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the design is present only on one side of the fabric. This allows for greater precision in the details and colors of the print.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, in addition to its elasticity and chlorine resistance, it has a very high UV protection factor (UPF 50+). This makes it ideal for swimwear, as it provides additional protection against harmful sun rays.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to being suitable for swimwear such as bikinis and swimsuits, it can also be used for lingerie, bodysuits, leotards, and sports leggings. Its versatility makes it an ideal option for all types of garments for women, men, and children.
As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not to use bleach. It can also be dry cleaned, avoiding the use of trichloroethylene. It can be ironed at a cool temperature, and tumble drying is not recommended.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This technique allows for high-quality and durable ink transfer, achieving a vibrant and sharp print on the fabric. Sublimation ensures that the design does not fade or peel off with use and washing, guaranteeing the durability of the garment.
