The Velvet Corduroy fabric - Dublin is a fabric with a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. With a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, it is characterized by its softness to the touch and its shiny appearance.
The printed design of this fabric stands out for being abstract, with brushstrokes that reflect the influence of modern art. Despite its complexity, it maintains a simple style, with lines as its main forms. Its main colors are multicolored, with a 50.39% predominance and a 14.53% accent.
This fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is on the front side of the fabric, and not present on the back.
Regarding general characteristics, the Velvet Corduroy fabric - Dublin stands out for its softness and its shiny appearance. On the other hand, the printed design offers an artistic and modern look thanks to its brushstrokes and lines.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied, such as decoration and upholstery for chairs, armchairs, and sofas. Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It is not suitable for dry cleaning with trichloroethylene and should be ironed at a low temperature. Furthermore, it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which guarantees high printing quality and exceptional durability. In this process, heat and pressure are used to permanently transfer the ink to the fabric.
