The Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston is a soft and warm fabric, perfect for fashion and sportswear such as sweatshirts, tracksuits, and accessories like backpacks and toiletry bags. Its 100% polyester composition guarantees easy adaptability and comfort when worn. It has a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm, making it ideal for making winter and autumn/winter garments for the 2021 season. In addition, it has GRS certification, which guarantees its sustainability as it is made with recycled materials.
The printed design of this fabric has a standard complexity and is characterized by its inspiration in home decor and tropical elements. The pattern includes pictorial floral motifs that provide a touch of nature and freshness. Other design elements include wallpaper-like details.
The main colors of the design include 35.52% of a dominant color and 28.08% of another prominent color. These main colors can be combined with other solid colors such as black, white, green or yellow to create contrasts or harmonies in the making of garments or accessories.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed on one side only by digital textile printing, which means that the printed design is only present on one side of the fabric. The other side of the fabric is plain and does not contain the printed design.
Regarding general characteristics, the brushed fabric has a soft and comfortable finish to the touch thanks to the brushing process. In addition, the printed design adds a decorative and distinctive look to garments made with this fabric.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied. In addition to being ideal for making sweatshirts, tracksuits, backpacks and toiletry bags, it can also be used in mens, womens and childrens fashion. Its versatility makes it a suitable fabric for creating sportswear, casual wear and accessories.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and does not allow ironing. It can be tumble dried at reduced temperature.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, in which ink pigments are transferred to the polyester through heat and pressure. This technique guarantees the durable fixation of colors in the fabric, resisting washing and the passage of time.
