The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is a high-quality elastic fabric, composed mainly of polyester and elastane, which gives it a soft and elastic texture. It has a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm.
The printed design of this fabric, called "Floral Nature", features a harmonious blend of wildflowers in predominant shades of 44.81% and 20.72%. The design is characterized by being artistic and decorative, with a pictorial style and standard complexity.
This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the printed design is on the front side of the fabric, not on both sides.
Regarding general characteristics, the Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is chlorine resistant and has a very high UV protection factor (UPF 50+), making it ideal for swimwear and sportswear. In addition, its elasticity makes it very comfortable to wear and its finish guarantees its durability.
This fabric is widely used in the manufacture of lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards and tights/leggings for women, men and children. It can also be used in fashion garments, such as swimsuits.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, it is suitable for dry cleaning with the exception of trichloroethylene. When ironing, a cold temperature should be used and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation. This technique consists of transferring the design pigments to the fabric using heat and pressure, which guarantees high print quality and long design durability.
