Polyester Lycra Fabric - Cairo is a type of elastic fabric that is soft to the touch, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It is composed of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, which gives it great elasticity.
The printed design of this fabric is Hawaiian style and features natural elements such as wildflowers, flowers, and leaves. The main colors of the design are predominantly green and blue, with 52.69% and 27.01% respectively.
This fabric is digitally printed on one side only. It is important to note that the design is not printed on both sides of the fabric, but only on one.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, in addition to its elasticity and softness, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers high UV protection thanks to its very high UV protection factor 50+.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, it is suitable for sportswear for women, men, and children. It is also ideal for making lingerie, bras, bralettes, knitwear, tops, scrunchies, bikinis, and swimsuits. In addition, its printed design and Hawaiian style make it an attractive option for fashion garments for both women and men.
Regarding the care required for this fabric, it is recommended to avoid the use of bleach and not to iron at high temperatures. Likewise, dry cleaning can be performed, except with trichloroethylene, and it should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, which is specifically applied to polyester fabrics. This process consists of transforming solid ink into a gas at high temperature to sublimate it into the fabric fibers, resulting in a durable and high-quality print.
