The base fabric, known as Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm, is a technical textile made of 100% polyester. With a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm, this fabric stands out for its water-repellent capacity, which makes it an ideal choice for fashion garments such as jackets and raincoats. Its delicate and smooth texture gives it a soft feel to the touch, while its waterproof finish ensures additional protection against moisture.
The printed design that adorns this fabric is characterized by being abstract, with brushstrokes and a pictorial aesthetic. Its artistic and simple style gives it a unique and modern appearance. The design features intense colors, with 50.6% of one color and 42.33% of another color being the main ones. This print can be harmoniously combined with solid colors such as white, black, navy blue, or gray, thus allowing the creation of balanced and versatile design pieces.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the design is on the front of the fabric and is not present on the back. This printing technique guarantees high quality and durability of the print.
Regarding general characteristics, the base fabric has a waterproof finish that makes it water-resistant, thus protecting the user from inclement weather. In addition, its soft and thin texture makes it pleasant to the touch and easy to handle. On the other hand, the printed design adds personality and style to the fabric, with an artistic and modern look that makes it suitable for fashion garments of different styles.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied. In addition to its use in fashion garments such as jackets and raincoats for men, women, and children, it can also be used in textile products for the home, such as shower curtains, thanks to its impermeability. Its versatility makes it a suitable option for the winter season, providing protection and style during the colder months.
Regarding care, it is important to follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer. It is recommended not to bleach the fabric, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoid dry cleaning, iron it at a cool temperature, and not use a tumble dryer.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This process consists of transferring special inks to the fabric through heat and pressure, creating a high-quality and durable print. Thanks to this technology, the design printed on the fabric remains vivid and resistant to the passage of time and washing.
