The fabric is a polyester lycra called Nairobi, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its composition is 82% polyester and 18% elastane, which gives it an elastic and comfortable texture to the touch. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor of 50+.
The printed design of this fabric is abstract and distorted, with artistic and botanical elements. It stands out for its artistic flowers and abstract flower, which gives it a natural and floral look. The main colors of the design are 57.43% of one shade and 33.21% of another shade.
The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, which means that the print is only on one side of the fabric and not on both sides.
In terms of general characteristics, Nairobi fabric is elastic and chlorine-resistant, making it ideal for applications such as lingerie, swimsuits, tights, and sports leggings. Its printed design adds an artistic and floral touch to the garments made.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and ironed at a cool temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended for this fabric.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which consists of a process in which the design pigments are transferred to the fabric by heat and pressure. This method ensures a durable and high-quality print.
