The Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston is a type of sweatshirt fabric with a composition of 100% polyester. It has a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. Its brushed finish gives it softness and warmth, ideal for making winter or autumn/winter garments.
The printed design of this fabric features a combination of attributes that reflect a botanical, decorative, and illustrative aesthetic. With floral elements such as wildflowers, stylized florals, and vines that add a touch of nature and freshness to the design. In addition, it features digital prints and elements related to wallpaper, which brings originality and creativity to the design.
The main colors of this print are 40.65% and 33.82%, which describe a palette of shades in which neutral and soft colors predominate. These main colors can be combined with other solid colors such as white, black, gray, dark green, or navy blue to highlight or contrast with the printed design.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the printed image is only on one side of the fabric, allowing for greater precision in the design and a more careful and defined appearance. The other side of the fabric remains unprinted.
In terms of general characteristics, the brushed sweatshirt fabric - Boston offers softness, warmth, and resistance, making it a perfect choice for making fashion garments such as sweatshirts, tracksuits, backpacks, and toiletry bags. In addition, its GRS certification and its sustainable nature, being made from recycled materials, make it an eco-friendly option.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene, and ironing is not permitted. It can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of applying heat and pressure to the fabric so that the design pigments turn into gas and adhere to the polyester. This guarantees a durable and high-quality print, resistant to wear and washing.
