The fabric is a Polyester Lycra called Cairo, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its composition is 90% Polyester and 10% Elastane, making it elastic and soft to the touch. The printed design has standard complexity and a decorative and artistic style, with plant and leaf elements in its main colors, which represent 44.98% and 24.34% respectively.
This fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only. It is important to note that the fabric is not printed on both sides, but only on one. This gives the fabric a unique and exclusive look.
Polyester Lycra - Cairo is characterized by its elastic and soft feel, offering great comfort when worn. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and provides high UV protection with a very high protection factor of 50+. These characteristics make this fabric an excellent option for sportswear, lingerie, knitwear, tops, bikinis, and swimsuits, for women, men, and children alike.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can also be dry cleaned, but avoiding the use of trichloroethylene. For ironing, a cool temperature should be used, and tumble drying is prohibited.
The fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology on polyester. This printing process allows for high image quality and great durability in the printed design. The ink transforms into gas and penetrates the polyester fibers, creating a permanent bond with the fabric. This ensures that the design will not fade or peel off with use and washing.
