The Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo is an elastic and soft fabric with a weight of 220 gr/m2. Its printed design features a combination of triangular shapes in main colors representing 72.39% and 11.49% respectively. This design is characterized by being pictorial, simple, artistic, two-color, and decorative, with a modern art style.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that it is not a double-sided printed fabric; instead, the design is present only on one side.
The Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo possesses general characteristics such as elasticity and softness to the touch. Additionally, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers very high UV protection (UPF 50+), making it ideal for swimwear and sportswear.
Regarding its applications and uses, this fabric is used in sportswear for women, men, and children, lingerie such as bodysuits and bras/bralettes, fashion knitwear for women and men, tops, scrunchies, bikinis, and swimsuits. It can also be used in other applications depending on each persons creative needs.
To keep the fabric in good condition, certain care instructions are recommended. It should not be bleached and should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. This fabric allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and it is recommended to iron it at a cool temperature. Furthermore, it should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which is specific for polyester. This technique allows for the transfer of ink to the fabric using heat and pressure, achieving a durable and high-quality print. It is important to mention that the design is printed on only one side of the fabric, which ensures the fidelity and clarity of the colors in the stamped design.
