The Polyester Lycra Fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. With a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for lingerie, sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, tights and leggings, as well as for competition suits in dance or gymnastics, thanks to its elastic texture.
The surface of this fabric has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor of 50+, making it perfect for activities in the pool or under the sun. Its printed design features main colors at 72.39% and 11.49%, with triangle shapes. This design itself, inspired by modern and artistic art, provides a sense of complexity and a decorative bicolor aesthetic.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using sublimation technology, which ensures high quality and durable printing. It is important to note that this fabric is not printed on both sides, but only on one side.
In terms of general characteristics, this fabric has a soft and elastic feel, which makes it comfortable to wear and adapts well to the body. Its chlorine resistance and UV protection make it an ideal choice for swimwear.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to the lingerie and sportswear mentioned above, it can also be used in swimwear, whether one-piece or two-piece, as well as in leotards for dance or gymnastics. Its elasticity and resistance make it perfect for close-fitting and high-performance garments.
To keep this fabric in perfect condition, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can also be dry cleaned, avoiding the use of trichloroethylene. When ironing, it is best to use a cold temperature and not tumble dry.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of the transfer of inks through heat and pressure, which guarantees a faithful reproduction of colors and a lasting result. This technology allows complex and detailed designs to be printed on a wide range of fabrics, as in this case, Polyester Lycra - Nairobi.
