The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric with a soft and stretchy texture that offers comfort and freedom of movement. Its composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane gives it strength and durability. With a weight of 270 gr/m2, its thickness is ideal for close-fitting garments such as lingerie, swimsuits, tights, and leggings.
The printed design of this fabric is characterized by its abstract and artistic style, with brushstrokes and vibrant colors. It is a modern and colorful representation that reflects complexity and fun. Its combination of main colors of 50.82% and 21.1% creates a striking and original contrast.
This fabric is digitally textile printed on one side, which means the design is only on one side of the fabric. The print quality is high and remains intact even after several washes.
Regarding general characteristics, the Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi has a chlorine-resistant finish, making it ideal for swimwear. In addition, it has a very high UV protection factor (UPF 50+), providing great protection against solar rays.
The applications and uses of this fabric are diverse. In addition to lingerie and swimwear, it is also used in sportswear such as leotards and bikinis. Its elasticity and resistance allow it to adapt optimally to the body, providing comfort during movement.
Regarding care, it is recommended to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and avoid the use of bleaches. It can be ironed at a cool temperature and dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene. Tumble drying should not be used to avoid damage to the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation. This technique consists of transferring the design through heat, ensuring excellent image quality and long-term durability. The result is a sharp and vibrant print that remains intact even after washing.
