The Recycled Lycra fabric is a soft and elastic textile, with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. With a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is perfect for fashion, sportswear, and swimwear applications, such as bikinis and swimsuits. Its GRS certification and sublimation printing technology, which is applied only to one side of the fabric, make it a sustainable and durable option.
The printed design of the fabric stands out for its artistic and decorative style, with triangular shapes that provide a touch of simplicity and elegance. The main colors of this design are 66.9% of the dominant color and 13.27% of another complementary color. To combine with this design, solid colors such as white, black, or neutral tones can be used to highlight the beauty and details of the print.
The fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric, which gives it a unique appearance and allows for greater versatility in the creation of garments and accessories.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its softness to the touch and its elasticity stand out, which makes it comfortable to wear and perfect for close-fitting garments. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers high UV protection with a factor of 50+, making it ideal for use in swimwear and sun protection garments.
In terms of applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to its use in fashion, sportswear, and swimwear, it can also be used for making scrunchies and hair ties, which makes it a versatile and creative option for different projects.
It is important to consider the proper care for this fabric. It is recommended to wash it at a maximum of 40ºC, avoiding the use of bleach and dry cleaning. It should not be ironed at high temperatures and tumble drying is not recommended.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring inks through heat to obtain bright and long-lasting colors. This technique allows for high-quality printing and excellent fixation of the design on the fabric, ensuring that the print maintains its original appearance over time.
